Safe Plus Group is proud to have participated in the prestigious “Doing Business” project in coordination with the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA). This initiative by the World Bank Group benchmarks business regulations across 191 economies, fostering growth-enhancing reforms worldwide.

The Impact of “Doing Business”

“Doing Business” is one of the World Bank Group’s flagship publications, designed to evaluate and improve business regulations globally. One of its key indicators, “Getting Electricity,” assesses how efficiently businesses can access reliable power—a crucial factor in economic development.
The 2020 Doing Business study recognized 115 economies that implemented 294 business-friendly reforms. Within two weeks of the report’s launch, media outlets referenced it more than 7,400 times, and over 100,000 visitors accessed doingbusiness.org within the first week. The study’s findings influence government policies worldwide, helping shape better regulatory environments.
